We worship in a more traditional way at Zion. We do not have rock bands, movie screens, light shows, or theater seating. Rather we sing the classic hymns of the Christian faith from a hymn book. We follow a historic Protestant liturgy that includes responsive readings, reciting the Apostle’s Creed, singing the Gloria Patri, praying the Lord’s Prayer, and observing the Christian calendar. Our Pastor wears a pulpit robe and we strive to emphasize reverence in God’s presence. The Bible is read in every service and a sermon based directly on the Bible is offered. Communion is served throughout the year. We observe Communion by coming forward and being served by the Pastor.
